The Coleman brand has been bought by the company named Maax. This adds even more credibility into the already well-known brand name of Coleman. The Coleman Spas Model 450 states that it can accommodate 6 people. However, doing so would make things too crowded. If you are all adults, 4 would be the best number to work with. It gives each other enough space to be comfortable. It costs a couple of thousand less than other well known brands, making it one of the cheaper hot tub in the market. However, it does lack a few key features. Unlike the more expensive brands, it only comes with a limited number of therapy seats. Aside from the lounge seat, it comes with only two other seats that are contoured – one for deep soaking and the other is a flat bench with fewer jets. It comes with one water pump but two controllers for speed. The jets at the lounge seat area have two settings: a low and a high. For the rest of the jets, they only have a high setting.

Another cost-cutting measure that the manufacturers took to make the Coleman Spas Model 450 a whole lot more affordable is the number of jets. You usually get more than 20 jets on pricey models, and some even go beyond the 30 mark. However, the Model 450 only has 17 jets. Nonetheless, these jets are still positioned to provide good hydrotherapy. The Model 450 is also an excellent choice for those who wants a hot tub but doesn’t want to add an immense amount in their electric bill. The Model 450 comes with two different settings for heating the water: Economy and Standard. The economy is great if the water temperature is near the desired level. However, during cold days, you might need to use the standard setting. The Model 450 comes with several features that are standard to all Coleman Spas models. You get the Cleanzone water filtration that works hand in hand with the ozonator of the Model 450.

There may be cheaper hot tubs in the market. However, given the price of the Coleman Spas Model 450 and the features it provide, it is one of those hot tubs with excellent price to feature ratio.
